Academic Advocates help undergraduate students overcome challenges that might get in the way of their academic progress and graduation. Students may hear from an Academic Advocate if we notice signs they might need support, or if a faculty or staff member refers them to us.

How We Help

Academic Advocates meet with students to connect them to helpful campus resources, explain university policies and procedures, and guide them through petitions or other academic processes. They also collaborate with academic departments and university offices to find solutions tailored to each student’s needs.

If you have questions or concerns about your academic path—or know someone who does—we encourage you to reach out to an Academic Advocate!
